With numbers usually limited to 30 or so, there is an emphasis on informality providing scope for questions and discussion. The courses are held in the garden room, adjacent to the Rose Garden, which is fully equipped for lectures.
The garden itself offers exceptional scope for practical discussions held outside to assess differing approaches to design, planting and maintenance.
Courses commence at 10.15 after coffee on arrival and registration and consist of two morning sessions of about an hour each, and concluding with lunch in our small restaurant with the owners and the lecturer.
Lunches accompanied by wine, are prepared by our talented cook and provide an opportunity for informal conversation with the lecturer and other attendees.
An extensive range of plants can be purchased from the nursery after lunch, or at the end, and attendees are welcome to explore the garden in their own time. Coton Manor Gift Vouchers (to any value) are available, please e-mail for details.
