Autumn Propagation and Division
With Caroline Tait
|
| Thursday 2nd September 2010 | 10.15am-3.30pm |
| In the second of our propagation courses Caroline Tait will explain the importance of autumn sowing in order to produce bigger, longer lasting flowers for the next year and also emphasise that many seeds can actually benefit from the winter cold. Caroline will also demonstrate propagation from root cuttings and techniques for taking hardwood cuttings, suitable for most shrubs and roses. As usual, a practical session follows in the Potting Shed where everyone will be able to participate. |
| £60 including lunch |
| Caroline Tait has managed the very successful nursery at Coton for the past fifteen years developing from modest beginnings to the current thriving business. She has
mastered all aspects of the skills of propagation and is a regular lecturer to garden clubs and societies both locally and further afield. |
