Focus on Foliage
With Janet Cropley
Tuesday 18th May 201010.15am-1.00pm
The effective use of foliage is often a neglected factor in planting but this talk by accomplished plantswoman, Janet Cropley, will propose that simple ‘flower-power’ can undermine the overall effect over the course of the season. She will discuss a range of plants, including trees and shrubs, with attractive foliage which will, of course, be evident for much longer than the flowering period. Janet will address the aesthetics of foliage for shapes, sizes, textures and colours and in the process open our eyes to its importance in the garden.
£60 including lunch
