The Unofficial Garden
With Nigel Colborn
|
| Tuesday 13th April 2010 | 10.15am-1.00pm |
| This course covers all the parts of the garden which are not usually planted up but which present wonderful planting opportunities. Borders, beds and shrubberies have no place here but besides those designated planting areas, every garden has masses of space in all sorts of unexpected and unlooked for places. Nigel Colborn will explain that paving, the footings of north walls, parking areas, wasted corners, pathways, verges, gravel stretches, old trees, even compost heaps, offer extraordinary scope for planting and, in the process, give the garden a sense of being complete. |
| £60 including lunch |
